Open and upcoming calls for grants and subsidies for SMEs – Updated February 2026
In 2026, small and medium-sized enterprises in Spain will have access to numerous calls for aid and subsidies for SMEs to boost their digital transformation.
From the implementation of technological solutions to artificial intelligence strategies, we review the main subsidies available by autonomous communities and at the national level.

Investment in growth and improved competitiveness in SMEs
o Applications accepted until December 30, 2027.
o Eligible recipients: SMEs with specific CNAES codes that invest more than €30,000 in tangible and intangible assets. This includes the acquisition and processing of software, with the exception of software consisting of licenses for operating systems or office automation applications.
o The subsidy percentage will depend on meeting additional criteria and may range from 30% to 40% as a non-repayable grant.
ADELANTE DIGITALIZATION E-COMMERCE LINE
or Until the call for applications closes (open-ended)
or Funding period: A maximum of twelve months starting from the day following notification of the grant decision.
o Beneficiaries: SMEs with a place of business in Castilla-La Mancha seeking support for the digitalization of SMEs through the implementation of e-commerce-related services, with the aim of strategically positioning them in the online market or improving their market position.
o Eligible projects:
-Design and implementation of an e-commerce store. Eligible action aimed at creating an online store
-Big data applied to e-commerce
-Digital marketing. Actions or strategies carried out on internet media and channels related to the sale of products or services in the course of the professional or business activity for which the grant is requested.
-E-commerce web portals (Marketplaces)
-Digital image enhancement, etc.

or The aid intensity will be 70% of eligible expenses, with a maximum grant of €15,000 per application.
DIGITIZATION AND DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISES (Castile and León)
Submission of applications until a new call replaces the current one.
Beneficiaries: SMEs with a place of business in Castile and León.
The following are not eligible:
Joint ownership entities, public companies, and civil societies, as well as associations, foundations, public administrations, and, in general, non-profit entities.
Companies with CANE: 2611, 2612, 2620, 2630, 2640, 2680, 4641, 4652, 5821, 5829, 6110, 6120, 6130, 6190, 6201, 6202, 6203, 6209, 6311, 6312, 9511, and 9512.
Eligible period: from December 3, 2024, and a maximum of 18 months from the date of application.
Eligible projects:
Individual projects for digitization:
Aimed at SMEs that decide to take on the challenge of digitization, with the possibility of defining how to approach their digitization journey with the help of an expert and, in addition, digitizing one or more of their processes. Minimum eligible budget of €2,000 and maximum of €20,000.
Individual or collaborative projects for advanced digital transformation:
Aimed at SMEs with a higher level of digitization that intend to either use advanced digital technologies for some of their processes or undertake a more ambitious digital transformation process. Minimum budget of €20,000 and maximum of:
-€50,000 for companies with fewer than 10 employees
-€100,000 for companies with between 10 and 50 employees
-€200,000 for companies with between 50 and 250 employees.
The subsidy percentage will range from 55% to 75% for accepted eligible expenses.
Digitization support program
Application: from January 2 until funds are exhausted.
Period: From the submission of the application until September 15, 2026.
Intended for: Madrid-based SMEs with CNAES codes included in the following divisions:

Division 2. Extraction and processing of non-energy minerals and related products. Chemical industry.

Division 3. Metal processing industries. Precision mechanics.

Division 4. Other manufacturing industries.
Projects:

Implementation of business solutions using technologies related to communication, analysis, and data processing.

Collaborative platforms.

Digitization of manufacturing processes using technologies such as augmented reality, collaborative robotics, additive manufacturing, sensors, embedded systems, and process control.

Implementation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the value chain of industrial companies

Design and development of websites, social media, and cybersecurity as a vehicle for promoting business development
Grant:

It will generally be 10% of eligible expenses for medium-sized companies, with a limit of €250,000.

20% of eligible expenses for small businesses, with a limit of €350,000

SME digitization project – DIGITALIZA CV
Application: January 15, 2026, to March 3, 2026. Eligible period: January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026(the project cannot end before the application is submitted).
Intended for: SMEs in the Valencian Community with the following CNAE codes:

Objective: To increase the technological level of industrial SMEs and industry service providers through the implementation of new electronic, information, and communications technologies (EICT).
Projects: Must include software, licenses, and consulting expenses (projects consisting exclusively of consulting services will not be accepted).
Minimum project budget: €20,000
The actions may be related to:

Adaptation to Industry 4.0, digital twins, production process control, data capture, preventive maintenance, automation, and sensorization associated with products, services, or processes.

Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, internal and external logistics, horizontal and vertical value chain integration, e-commerce, and information systems linked to circular economy projects.

Advanced security systems, data analysis, and artificial intelligence.
Grant: External consulting, diagnostic, and implementation services:

AID TO SUPPORT INVESTMENTS IN REINDUSTRIALIZATION MADE BY SMES IN VARIOUS INDUSTRIAL SECTORS IN THE VALENCIAN COMMUNITY. IMPYME 2026 (Valencian Community).

Eligible period: from January 1, 2026, until the maximum justification period.
Beneficiaries: SMEs that carry out or will carry out an industrial activity in the Valencian Community with the CNAE (National Classification ofEconomic Activities) described in the call for applications (see

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE APPLICATIONS

Intended for: SMEs engaged in retail trade (CNAE 47) and with commercial establishments in Extremadura

IA 360 ASSISTANCE
Application: until March 14, 2026. Eligible period: from the submission of the application until September 30, 2026.
Intended for: Galician SMEs or SMEs with a permanent and legally established place of business in Galicia.
Projects: Implementation and acquisition of Artificial Intelligence-based solutions to improve business productivity (Line B).

IMPLEMENTATION OF SERVICES AND/OR BUSINESS SOLUTIONS BASED ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND DATA INFRASTRUCTURE.
o Applications: coming soon: March 24 through November 2, 2026.(confirmed)
o Purpose: to support projects based on the use of Artificial Intelligence services and solutions
o Funding period: January 1, 2026, and within the maximum project implementation period, which may not exceed 12 months.
o Beneficiaries: industrial companies and related service companies linked to industry, of any size, with their center of activity in the Basque Country. Excluded are companies that
operate in the agricultural, food, fishing, and forestry sectors, entities affiliated with the Basque Network for Science, Technology, and Innovation (RVCTI), and public entities.
o Eligible projects:
– Consulting projects to define the company’s Artificial Intelligence and data management strategy: maturity assessment, identification of AI use cases, and a roadmap aligned with business objectives.
– Projects aimed at defining and implementing AI and data governance policies, aligned with the current regulatory framework (AI Act, Data Act) and with standards such as ISO 42001 or the UNE standards for data governance and quality, to ensure the ethical, secure, and responsible use of AI.
– Projects for the development and implementation of AI solutions focused on prediction, optimization, automation, quality, and support for business processes.
or Aid intensity: 60% of eligible expenses, up to a maximum of 100,000 euros.
RENOVE SMART INDUSTRY
o Applications accepted until April 16, 2026.
o Purpose: to promote investments in new machinery and/or advanced equipment (hardware and software)
o Eligible period: starting January 1, 2026, and, in any case, within 12 months of the application submission.
o Beneficiaries: (SMEs) in manufacturing and related services linked to industrial products and processes
o Eligible activities:
– Artificial Intelligence projects aimed at the industrial environment, where machines and/or plant equipment are capable of learning and making decisions autonomously, as well as consulting/engineering expenses associated with the project.
– Consulting/engineering expenses may not exceed 25% of the total project budget
– The project must have a minimum budget of 50,000 euros (excluding VAT) and be related to the production process of the applicant entity’s business operations
or Aid intensity: 20% of eligible expenses, with a maximum of 75,000 euros.
Upcoming calls for grants
Applications: May 5, 2026, through May 23, 2026, for Track 2, and through June 13, 2026, for Track 1
Purpose: To support basic and advanced digitization projects for businesses in Bizkaia.
Eligible period: from January 1, 2025, through June 30, 2027, inclusive.
Eligible entities: companies with a workforce of between 5 and 250 employees and registered office and tax domicile in Bizkaia that operate in the sectors of Industry, Construction, Transportation, Industry-related Services, Tourism, and Wholesale Trade, such that some of their activities fall under the CNAE classifications listed in the Annex to the call for proposals (check when the timecomes)
Eligible projects:
Line 1: Basic digitalization:
E-commerce: B2B, B2C
Advanced management systems: ERP / CRM / BI
Production process management systems: MES / SCADA / GMAO
Line 2: Advanced digitalization:
Artificial Intelligence
Aid intensity: between 50% and 70% of eligible expenses, with a maximum of between €20,000 and €40,000. (to be defined)
Compatibility with other aid: Thisaid is compatible with other grants, subsidies, income, or resources for the same purpose.
BUSINESS DIGITALIZATION. (CANARY ISLANDS)
o Applications: 15 days from publication in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands
o Purpose: to promote the development of the digital economy to facilitate the growth, competitiveness, and internationalization of Canarian companies.
o Eligible period: starting from the start date indicated in the application, which may not be earlier than January 1 of the year in which the budget for the call for proposals is allocated.
o Eligible Recipients: Companies with their registered office and tax domicile in the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, with at least one employee on staff and in operation for more than three years since their incorporation.
o Eligible projects:
– ERP, CRM, Business Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence Solutions
-For ERP, CRM, Business Intelligence (BI), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives, it is an essential requirement that the company did not have such systems prior to submitting the application.
*Only existing commercial solutions in the Software as a Service (SaaS) model are eligible for funding
or Eligible activities:
– Subscriptions or usage fees: The cost of the SaaS service during the eligible period, up to 18 months.
– Implementation: The services necessary to deploy the solution within the company.
– Parameterization and configuration: Adapting the tool to the company’s needs using native utilities (maximum 50% of the budget for ERP, CRM, and Cybersecurity; maximum 60% for Business Intelligence).
– Data migration: Transfer of information from previous systems (maximum 20% of the budget for ERP and CRM).
– Integration with data sources: Specific to BI projects, limited to 20% of the budget.
or Specific Actions by Project Type:
– ERP (Resource Management): Systems that natively integrate financial management, purchasing, and sales. AI modules are allowed if they are natively integrated.
– CRM (Customer Management): Tools for managing contacts, sales opportunities, follow-up activities, and reporting.
– Business Intelligence (BI): Interactive dashboards, automated reporting, and multidimensional analysis. May include a data warehouse if it is an integral part of the cloud solution.
– Cybersecurity: Endpoint protection, managed firewalls (WAF), cloud backup, identity management (IAM), email protection, SIEM, EDR/XDR, and managed SOC services.
– Artificial Intelligence (AI): Agents specializing in administrative automation (invoice/document processing, internal IT support) or natural language processing (transcriptions, technical translations, summaries).

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE APPLICATIONS(Extremadura)
Applications: 3 months after a period of 20 days from publication.
Beneficiaries: SMEs in Extremadura
