Boosting the digitalization of the Spanish healthcare system
The Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Administration, through Red.es, has launched the RedIA Salud call for proposals, an initiative endowed with 50 million euros aimed at promoting artificial intelligence projects applied to the Spanish healthcare system.
The program seeks to accelerate the digitalization of the healthcare sector and encourage the adoption of innovative solutions that improve management, patient care and medical research.
Who is the target audience?
SMEs, entrepreneurs and large companies with the capacity to develop experimental development projects in the field of health are eligible for grants.
The projects must demonstrate their impact through validation or certification with real data, and have the collaboration of hospitals, universities or research centers.
Main features
- Total budget: 50 million euros
- Application period: from November 3, 2025 to January 5, 2026
- Amount of grants: between 400,000 euros and 5,000,000 euros
- Project duration: up to 24 months
- Type of projects: AI solutions applied to diagnostics, prevention, hospital management, biomedical and pharmacological research, emergency care or personalized medicine.
Financing may cover up to 100% of the eligible budget through the ICO Red.es Acelera line.
