The Department of Economy and Finance has decided to raise the limits for taxation under the simplified VAT regime.
The announcement affects companies or professionals that carry out economic activities included in this regime and that do not exceed a turnover amount of 250,000 euros per year. Specifically, the Tax Authorities have already sent this communication to one of the sectors with which they have been holding conversations since the beginning of the legislature, such as the transport sector.
The news has been received with satisfaction by this sector since it comes to give solution to a demand that they have been requesting for a long time. The meeting took place at the Department of Economy and Finance and was attended by the Councilor Elma Saiz and the Managing Director of the Treasury of Navarre, Óscar Martínez de Bujanda.
For its part, the transport sector has been represented by members of the associations ANET, TRADISNA, HIRU, Plataforma and Anatravi, with the participation of Iñigo Abrego, partner of the tax area of PKF Attest, representing our clients in this sector. The decision will be made official with the forthcoming approval of the Foral Order that will develop the simplified VAT regime for 2023.
